Air Latin Band interprets many styles of Latin and world music including Cha Cha, Son, Cubano, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Charanga, Reggaeton, Reggae, R&B, Rock and Pop in Spanish and English.
The band consists of 3 Colombian musicians who’s on stage presence lights up all kinds of audiences.
Marien Jaell Beltrán – Violin Player and Singer
Marien began her musical training at the Batuta Foundation
(1991) Bogota. In 1994, she participated in a concert at
the Palacio de Nariño with the assistance of the Colombian President.
She studied Violin at the Conservatory of the National
University and then Entrance to her professional studies
of Music at the (ASAB) Superior Art Academy of Bogotá.
She travelled to Mexico in 2008 with the female mariachi
Reinas Tapatías, participating in the Charrería festival in
Guadalajara. 4 years later she won a world mariachi
competition together with the Mariachi las Alazanas,
Today she is a widely recognized Violin player in Bogota, Colombia
Nelson Yesid Romero – Singer and Guitar Player
Nelson is a widely recognized singer and performer in his hometown. He studied music at the LUIS A. CALVO school in Bogotá where he learned to play piano, guitar and ukulele.
He was a member of the Pachanga Band and Number 1 Band.
He won the local LIFECUN singing concourse.
Astrid Peña Romero – Singer and Ukulele Player
With more than 10 years of experience, Astrid has
worked in the Middle East (Bahrein, Omán)
with groups such as Amazing Band and River
Blue Band, as well as in her hometown city of
Bogotá with bands such as Café Yahee, Caribe Urbano.
She is currently licensed in Arts Education from the Minuto de Dios University.
